Jointly organized by Myanmar Red Cross Society and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Myanmar Cyclone Nargis Partnership Meeting was held at Sedona Hotel.
Deputy Minister for Health Dr. Mya Oo gave accounts on tasks of health subcommittee under the Natural Disaster Preparedness Central Committee in storm-hit regions and active participation of Myanmar Red Cross Society in health care services and rehabilitation works.
Next, MRCS President Prof. Dr. Tha Hla Shwe, Mr. Alan Harold Bradbury of IFRC Regional Office, Head of Delegation Mr. Bernd Schell of IFRC Myanmar Delegation, Head of Delegation Mr. Georges Paclisanu of ICRC and Regional Organizational Delegate Mr. Malcolm John Mackinlay of IFRC Regional Office spoke on the occasion.
Then the MRCS President and executives, officials of IFRC and representatives of INGOs held discussions on rehabilitation tasks.
