World Red Cross Day ceremony was held at the YCDC Training Hall, Insein Township this evening. Chairman of Yangon Division Peace and Development Council Commander of Yangon Command Brig-Gen Win Myint, Chairman of Yangon City Development Committee Mayor Brig-Gen Aung Thein Lin, Myanmar Red Cross Society's Executive Committee members, Yangon Divisional Red Cross Supervisory Committee members, officials, Red Cross volunteers and invited guests attended the ceremony.
Chairman of Yangon Division Peace and Development Council Commander of Yangon Command Brig-Gen Win Myint gave opening speech at the ceremony. Chairman of Yangon City Development Committee Mayor Brig-Gen Aung Thein Lin also gave remark at the ceremony.
Chairman of Yangon City Development Committee Mayor Brig-Gen Aung Thein Lin handed over twenty million kyats, donated by Yangon City Development Committee for Yangon Division Red Cross to U Myo Min Naung, Grade (1), Red Cross Brigade, Yangon Division.
After the ceremony, Commander of Yangon Command, Mayor and guests inspected the ' 25 Humanitarian Heroes' Photo Exhibition held by Myanmar Red Cross Society.
